The Patient Care Center is our team that has contact with patients via phone or email. They are the first ones to answer phone calls, texts and emails. Their job is to schedule appointments, follow up on outstanding treatment and make sure we have accurate insurance information on patients for their upcoming scheduled appointments. There are two types of Patient Care Center seats, incoming and outgoing. The goal is to have one person in each seat for all business hours.
The reason these seats are important is having the phones answered by people not in front of patients, to give the team members who are in front of patients more opportunity to connect with patients. Also, having one person with phones will make it easier for when patient’s call back.
