If approved, a pop up like this will appear showing how much the patient was pre approved for.

DO NOT click “Customer Accepts” yet. First go tell the patient they were pre approved for “$_X_” amount. Then get confirmation from the patient if they would like to accept or cancel the application. If the customer accepts, click the button and you can then begin charging to the patient’s care credit account. This allows you to offer same day service to the patient if the schedule allows or even charge only a reservation deposit for their scheduled treatment.
You will also need to print the application for the patient that shows them all the information and terms of their care credit account so they can take it with them. Save a copy as well to the patient’s images under “Financial”. Let the patient know they should be expecting their physical card from care credit in the mail within the next few weeks.
If not pre approved a similar pop up will appear telling you they were not pre approved. We are not given a reason as to why patients are not approved, but you can let the patient know they should receive something in the mail within the next few weeks with more details. You will then need to talk to the patient about how they would like to move forward with their treatment. Usually patients will not be able to schedule something right then, but they should not leave without being added to the follow up calls list.
